National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - Tipi Installation

This September 30, in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Bonnie Doon Centre is honoured to once again welcome a meaningful tipi installation featuring Indigenous artwork.The installation celebrates Indigenous traditions, stories and heritage while creating a space for reflection, learning and meaningful conversation about reconciliation.As we gather on Treaty 6 Territory, we acknowledge the land on which we live, work and come together as a community.We invite you to visit the installation, learn more about Indigenous stories and cultural practices, and take time to reflect on the significance of this important day.Together, we can continue to listen, learn and deepen our understanding as the work of reconciliation continues.The Tipi will be on display in the Promo Court until October 5th.
